I hadn't considered the flag idea either; something to tool around with next summer :)Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07972097611995549563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7339066349324233604.post-22925401603364470122014-07-14T15:13:09.253-04:002014-07-14T15:13:09.253-04:00I didn't notice your pantry wreath until after...I didn't notice your pantry wreath until after I saw this post but it turned out beautifully! One large cluster of red, white and blue flowers or stars probably would have looked really nice here too, especially if you want to try something other than bows or ribbon. You might also consider just tucking an American flag into the wreath.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7339066349324233604.post-64074001561469278362014-07-09T20:02:08.138-04:002014-07-09T20:02:08.138-04:00Up to this point, I've actually *only* done la...Up to this point, I've actually *only* done large bows, ribbon wrapped around, or the tail end of a large bow wrapped around the R. I wanted to try something different so it wouldn't start feeling stagnant, but I guess my tried and true method is the best because it just works. That R is more challenging than it looks. I'm already looking forward to my late summer/early fall wreath.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07972097611995549563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7339066349324233604.post-13796194958999701462014-07-09T14:55:30.296-04:002014-07-09T14:55:30.296-04:00The blue blends in too well with the green, so it ...The blue blends in too well with the green, so it looks like a lot of red and white Christmas ornaments from the street. Instead of lots of small pieces of red, white and blue, go bigger and bolder with fewer pieces. Maybe wrap the R with a wide striped (or star spangled) ribbon, or try a single large bow with the same ribbon.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7339066349324233604.post-85540547578886366622014-07-03T23:46:09.341-04:002014-07-03T23:46:09.341-04:00Probably... I'm also thinking a patriotic doormat would have helped.Katiehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07972097611995549563noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7339066349324233604.post-64840143093268432962014-07-02T23:22:19.898-04:002014-07-02T23:22:19.898-04:00should have done the "bushes?" next to t...should have done the "bushes?" next to the door as well Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
